A Single Market for Goods

At a meeting in The Hague, Netherlands, European leaders from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands confirm their intention to move towards a single market with a single currency, as well as their agreement to allow other countries to join the Community. Thanks to the single market, not only people, but also goods, services, and capital will move freely within the European Community.
