Announcement of the Commission to the Council ahead of the Copenhagen Summit

The Commission, in its Communication to the Council titled “Towards a closer association with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe”, refers to the progress made regarding the Community’s relations with the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. This Communication was drafted in the context of the upcoming European Council meeting held in Copenhagen on 21-22 June 1993.
