Announcement of the Commission to the Council of Ministers Regarding Monetary and Financial Cooperation in the EEC

In an Announcement of the Commission of the European Economic Community (EEC) to the Council of Ministers concerning monetary and financial cooperation in the EEC, it is proposed to strengthen the responsibilities of the Monetary Committee, to create a Committee of Governors of the Central Banks of the EEC, and to establish closer cooperation between member states, especially in case of changes in their exchange rates.
