31/8/2020

The second EU Humanitarian Air Bridge flight landed in Beirut, Lebanon, delivering 12 tons of essential humanitarian supplies and medical equipment, including a mobile hospital and face masks. The urgently needed materials will help ensure access to healthcare for the most vulnerable following the powerful explosion at a warehouse containing flammable materials at the port of Beirut on August 4 and the intensifying coronavirus pandemic. This is the second Humanitarian Air Bridge organized by the EU, following the first one on August 13.
