Assessment of the Impact of the Russian Import Ban on EU Agricultural Products

Jerzy Plewa, Director-General of DG “Agriculture and Rural Development” (DG Agro) of the European Commission, participated in the 41st Committee for the Common Organisation of Agricultural Markets to assess the potential impacts of Russian sanctions on EU agricultural product imports. The Common Market Organisations have been established since 1962 within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
