Beyen Supports European Integration despite the Failure to Create a Defense Community

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Johan Willem Beyen, following the failure to establish the European Defense Community, supports the continuation of efforts towards European integration, which could be achieved through the initiative of the Benelux countries, aiming for a broader common market. He presented this view through a memorandum to his colleagues in the Government.
