Cocor as a Precursor to Coreper

The Secretary-General of the Special Council of Ministers of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), Christian Calmes, forwards to the Secretary of the High Authority, Max Kohnstamm, the agenda for the first meeting of the Coordination Committee (Cocor), scheduled for March 5, 1953, in Luxembourg. This committee is considered the institutional predecessor of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper).
