3/4/1968

On the occasion of the renewal of the Yaoundé Convention, the Commission of the European Communities, in its communication to the Council, mainly refers to various economic and commercial issues that arise, as well as matters concerning the right of establishment and the right to provide services.

The founding states of the European Community signed the Yaoundé Convention in 1963 with their former colonies in Africa, aiming to provide the latter with certain trade advantages and receive economic aid.
