Efforts to Tackle High Youth Unemployment

22/4/2013

To address the unprecedented levels of youth unemployment, EU leaders approve the “Youth Guarantee” program aimed at young people under 25. This program commits to ensuring all young people receive quality employment, continued education, apprenticeships, or internships within four months of becoming unemployed or completing formal education. Since the program began in 2014, over 18 million young people have joined youth guarantee programs.
