Election of the Last President of the ECSC Consultative Committee

On October 10, 2001, Enrico Gibellieri is elected as the President of the Consultative Committee of the European Coal and Steel Community. His term lasted until July 23, 2002, and he is the 44th and last President of the Consultative Committee, as on July 23, 2002, the Treaty establishing the ECSC ceased to exist and its work was transferred to the European Economic and Social Committee
