Establishment of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund

The Council of Ministers of the Six, after 140 hours of “agricultural” negotiations, decided to initiate the second stage of the transitional period and establish firstly, a European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund; secondly, the organization of common agricultural markets (separately for each product); and thirdly, the implementation of specific competition rules.
