EU Humanitarian Air Bridge to Lebanon

Janez Lenarčič, European Commissioner for International Partnerships, visited Beirut, Lebanon, as part of the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge initiative. Janez Lenarčič oversaw the EU’s aid efforts following the devastating explosions in the city. The EU Humanitarian Air Bridge transported approximately 30 tons of essential aid on board, including ambulances, firefighting equipment, personal protective equipment, medicines, and telecommunications equipment. In total, 54 tons of humanitarian aid items, medicines, and medical equipment have been delivered to Lebanon through 3 humanitarian flights.
