On October 10, 2022, the European Commission launched the EU Talent Pool pilot initiative, a new online job search tool that will help those fleeing the Russian invasion of Ukraine to secure employment in the European Union. The new tool is available in English, Ukrainian, and Russian and is accessible through the EURES portal of the European Labour Authority.
After registering with the EU Talent Pool pilot initiative, individuals under temporary protection status can upload their CV, making their profile available to over 4,000 employers, national public employment services, and private recruitment agencies. Ensuring rapid and effective integration into the labor market is important both for host communities and for those leaving the war to rebuild their lives.
