European Council of Bremen, 06-07/07/1978

On 6 and 7 July 1978, the European Council convened in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. During the second half of 1978, the Federal Republic of Germany held the Presidency of the Council. During this meeting, the Heads of State and Government of the member states of the European Communities examined ways to create an area of monetary stability in Europe.
