European Council of Luxembourg, 29-30/06/1981

The European Council of Luxembourg addressed the economic and social situation as well as the general orientation of the EEC’s external relations. The Council also prepared for the next Western Economic Summit in Ottawa. Additionally, the European Trade Union Confederation presented its manifesto on employment and economic recovery to Andries van Agt, Dutch Prime Minister and acting President of the Council. An event was also organized.
