European Parliament Resolution on Common Foreign and Security Policy

A European Parliament Resolution is adopted on the ‘Role of the Union in the World: Implementation of the Common Foreign and Security Policy for 1998’. This Resolution addresses ‘Trends in CFSP in 1998/99’, ‘Strategic Questions’, ‘Human Rights and Democracy Building’, towards ‘A European Security Identity’, the ‘European Silence’, and ‘Inter-institutional Relations after Amsterdam’.
