European Plan to Combat Cancer

While cancer is a serious health issue affecting many families across the European Union, 40% of cases can be prevented (data from a specific period). On the occasion of this year’s World Cancer Day, the European Commission launched the first phase of the European plan to combat cancer, which aims to improve prevention and care, as well as reduce the suffering caused by the disease.
