Europe’s Climate Goals for 2030

14/7/2021

The European Commission approves a series of proposals aimed at adapting EU policies on climate, energy, transport, and taxation to the goal of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030, compared to 1990 levels.
EU countries will now discuss these proposals and agree on a common position, which will help the EU implement the European Green Deal.
