Expert Group Report on Currency Fluctuation of EEC Member States

8/1/1972

Following a previous mandate from the Committee of Governors of the Central Banks of the member states of the then European Economic Community (EEC), a group of experts submits an initial study on the problems created due to the permitted fluctuation between the different currencies of the EEC member states and the currencies of third countries. This group, under the chairmanship of Marcel Théron, essentially continued the work assignment of the previous expert committee at the “helm” of which was Hubert Ansiaux.
