First Ministerial Meeting of European Communities and Spain

The first Ministerial Meeting between the European Communities and Spain regarding the latter’s entry into the Community is held in Brussels. In this initial session of the accession negotiations, the President of the Council was Jean François-Poncet, while Roy Jenkins was at the Presidency of the European Communities Commission.
