Germany Recognizes Robert Schuman’s Work

The President of the European Parliamentary Assembly, Robert Schuman, is awarded the Federal Cross of Merit by the Federal President of Germany, Theodor Heuss, in recognition of his efforts for European unity. Similarly, German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer in his speech does not fail to praise Robert Schuman for his efforts to implement the plan for the European Coal and Steel Community.
