High-Level Summit of the Six in Bonn

On July 18, 1961, a meeting of the six member states of the European Communities took place in Bonn. The aim of this meeting was, among other things, to discuss the following topics: the elaboration of political union, the organization of regular meetings of the Heads of State and Government of the member states, and the increasing involvement of public opinion in political discussions.
