Initial Efforts for the Establishment of the European Atomic Energy Community

The Atomic Energy Committee, following a relevant Directive from the Coordinating Committee of the Spaak Committee, undertakes the preparation of a study regarding the establishment of a common atomic energy organization for peaceful and industrial purposes. This Directive is based on the Messina Conference (June 1-3) and constitutes the first directive from the Coordinating Committee to the Atomic Energy Committee.
