Intergovernmental Conference of the “6” in Paris

In Paris, the economic terms for the integration of Overseas Countries and Territories with the future European Economic Community are being finalized by the Six Heads of State and Government participating in the Intergovernmental Conference on the Common Market and Euratom, accompanied by their Foreign Ministers (February 19-20). At the same time, issues concerning the establishment of the European Economic Community (EEC) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom) are being discussed.
