Investment Plan for Europe

The EU launches the €315 billion Investment Plan for Europe to boost the European economy. Its aim is to put Europe back on a growth trajectory and recover employment. By supporting various projects – from affordable housing in Poland to cancer research in Austria and food production in Greece – the Investment Plan stimulates employment and growth across Europe. The plan was initially intended to last three years, but due to its great success, it was extended until 2020.
