José Manuel Barroso’s Speech on the State of the Union

José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, participated in a plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where he delivered the first Speech on the State of the Union. The President of the European Commission outlined the 5 main priorities for 2011, namely EU Economic Governance, Growth, Freedom, Security and Justice, the EU Budget, and the EU on the Global Stage.
