Lamberto Dini’s Position on EMU

The director of the Bank of Italy and member of the Monetary Committee of the European Communities, Lamberto Dini, in his statement, refers to the importance of monetary policy and the crucial role of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) for the creation and operation of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU).
