Meeting of Finance Ministers Regarding the Werner Report

The Finance Ministers are convening in Venice (May 29-30) regarding the interim Report of the Werner Group, which is studying the creation of the economic and monetary union through stages. From the conclusions of the Conference, the Werner Group is called to continue its work focusing its efforts around the institutional axis, fiscal and monetary policy, improving the coordination of economic policies and exchange rates.
