On the Path to a Common Customs Tariff

A group of customs experts is established within the framework of the Intergovernmental Committee set up by the Messina Conference, with the aim of conducting a research study on the introduction of a common customs tariff with third countries. The formation of this group was created at the request of the Heads of Delegations of the Six of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC).
