Parliament Approves EU-Japan Free Trade Agreement

MEPs give their consent to an economic partnership agreement between the EU and Japan, which removes almost all customs duties between the two sides and creates a trade zone covering one-third of global GDP. The agreement reaffirms the EU’s commitment to free trade that creates jobs and opportunities for businesses.
