Parliament Resolution on Issues Related to the Implementation of the Maastricht Treaty

In a relevant Resolution of the European Parliament regarding the outcomes of the Intergovernmental Conferences, it expresses its opinion on the positive aspects of the Treaty on the EU (Maastricht Treaty), such as the establishment of the Committee of the Regions, but also acknowledges some of its weaknesses, such as the absence of institutional counterbalances against the monetary policy conducted by the ECB.
