On October 4, 2019, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, participated in the 2019 Annual Conference of the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) titled “The EU Global Strategy – Past, Present and Future”. The Vice-President delivered a speech on this occasion, in the presence of Gustav Lindstrom, Director of the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS). EUISS is the EU Agency that analyzes foreign policy, security and defense issues. Its central mission is to assist the EU and its member states in implementing the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), including the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), as well as other external actions of the Union.
