Participation of Jutta Urpilainen, European Commissioner, in the 2023 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development

On July 19, 2023, Jutta Urpilainen, European Commissioner for International Partnerships, traveled to New York to participate in the 2023 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. The Forum focused on the theme “Building momentum towards the 2023 Summit on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Transformation to accelerate the implementation of SDGs”. It provided an opportunity for Ministers and high-level representatives from participating states, as well as Intergovernmental Organizations, the United Nations system, major groups, and other stakeholders to exchange experiences, lessons learned, policy directions, transformative actions, and initiatives in preparation for the SDG Summit.
