Individuals who report any inappropriate behavior in the workplace can help identify and stop behaviors that harm society, such as corruption or the degradation of the environment and human health. However, they may be afraid to speak up. To ensure their greater protection, the EU is establishing new rules to ensure that citizens can safely report violations of EU law.
