Protests against the UK’s Entry into the EU

A few days after the United Kingdom’s entry as an official member into the “family” of the European Communities, demonstrations are taking place in front of the London Opera House, during an event celebrating the creation of the “Europe of Nine”. The protesters were opponents of the common market and accused Prime Minister Edward Heath of national treason.
