Protocols on the Privileges and Immunities of the EEC and the European Court are Signed.

A protocol regarding the privileges and immunities of the European Economic Community (EEC) is signed in Brussels, as well as a protocol concerning the functioning of the Court and the status of judges and general advocates. Similar protocols were also signed for the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The Treaties establishing the two Communities were signed on March 25, 1957, in Rome by representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
