Redirection of 135 Million Euros to Strengthen Cooperation with Ukraine and Moldova

The Commission decided to transfer 135 million euros from the Neighborhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument, which were initially programmed for the 2021-2027 Interreg NEXT programs with Russia and Belarus, to other Interreg programs with Ukraine and Moldova.
Specifically, this funding can support a range of activities, including Solidarity Lanes and the development of cross-border transport connections, health services, educational and research projects, social inclusion programs, as well as strengthening the institutional capacity of public authorities in Ukraine and Moldova.
