Regional Policy Committee is Established

18/3/1975

By Council Decision, a Regional Policy Committee is established. This Committee is under the Council and the Commission, and is the first advisory body that mainly studies regional policy issues identified at Community level. However, the fact that its composition consists of civil servants appointed by the Member States results in it not being considered as a body of regional representation at Community level.
