Resolution of the European Parliament on the Imminent Accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the EU

The European Parliament, taking into account the European Commission’s Monitoring Report on the state of preparedness for EU membership of Bulgaria and Romania, dated 16 May 2006, adopts a Resolution that, among other things, addresses the progress, pending issues, and other procedures for the two countries to be ready to join the EU on 1 January 2007.
