Resolution on the Road to the Common Market

The Common Assembly of the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) issues a Resolution deeming it necessary to establish a supranational executive body. At the same time, it was considered important to find a balanced relationship between the European institutional bodies. This Resolution was adopted in the context of discussions on the Common Market and Euratom.
