The Commission Launches New Digital Resilience Tool

29/11/2021

The Commission launches an interactive website for navigating resilience dashboards, which are sets of indicators and information about the resilience of Member States and non-EU countries. The resilience dashboards were first announced in the Commission’s 2020 Strategic Foresight Report, focusing on resilience as a new compass for EU policy-making. The resilience dashboards, developed in collaboration with Member States and other relevant stakeholders, help countries and the EU as a whole to identify their capabilities and weaknesses as they undergo economic and social transitions while addressing challenges and potential shocks.
The resilience dashboards have a forward-looking perspective, as the selection of indicators takes into account major trends that may have a significant impact on the future of the EU. They are also holistic, covering four interconnected dimensions: social and economic, green, digital, and geopolitical.
