The Commission “Unfreezes” Poland’s Funding

EPP leaders meet ahead of the European Council – Arrivals

The Commission considers that Poland, under the new Government of former Council President Donald Tusk, is proceeding with reforms on rule of law issues and “unfreezes” the first installment of 6.3 billion euros (advance payment) from the funds allocated to the country from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), which total 59.8 billion euros for the country.
