The Council Approves the Falcone Joint Action for Combating Organized Crime

The Falcone Joint Action, concerning the effective fight against organized crime, is approved by the 15 member states of the Council. This Action establishes a common program for training, exchange, and cooperation. Additionally, on the same day, the Council approves the Odysseus Joint Action, which is a similar program to the above, however, it specializes in matters of asylum, immigration, and crossing of external borders.
