The EEC-Turkey Connection on the Agenda of the Foreign Affairs Council

On 15 and 16 September 1975, the Council of the European Communities convened for its 356th Session under the Presidency of Mariano Rumor, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy and current President of the Council, at the Charlemagne building in Brussels. The Ministers decided in particular on the positions to be taken during the 21st Session of the EEC-Turkey Association Council and the implementation of the Lomé Convention. The Council also noted a recommendation from the Commission regarding the initiation of negotiations concerning relations with Egypt and the overall Mediterranean approach.
