The European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund is Established

With the aim of making the common organization of agricultural markets more effective, the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund is established by the Council through a relevant Regulation, while also introducing some fiscal rules. Additionally, regarding the levies collected from imported agricultural products originating from third countries, it was decided that they should be directed to the Community’s resources.
