The Lisbon Declaration is Signed

The Lisbon Declaration is signed by António Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal, Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister of Spain, and Miguel Arias Cañete, in the presence of Emma Navarro, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB). The Declaration’s aim was to strengthen regional cooperation within the framework of the Energy Union and to better integrate the Iberian Peninsula into the internal energy market.
