The Sibiu Declaration

The leaders of 27 EU countries meet in the Romanian city of Sibiu on Europe Day to discuss the challenges and priorities of the European Union in the coming years. They approve the Sibiu Declaration as a sign of their unity and confidence in the future of the EU. The Declaration comes a few weeks before the European elections of the same year and includes 10 commitments from the leaders of the member states on the Principle of European values and for the Future of the EU.
