The Supplementary Protocol of the Benelux Customs Convention is Signed

A supplementary Protocol to the Benelux Customs Convention (the original was signed in London on September 5, 1944) is signed in The Hague by Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Its entry into force was decided for January 1, 1948. It provided for duty-free movement of products between the countries as well as reduction or elimination of duties on products originating from overseas territories (Belgian and Dutch).
