Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union

At the European Council meeting on March 1 and 2, 2012, 25 European leaders signed the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union (TSCG).
The Treaty came into effect on January 1, 2013, and formalized the Euro Summit. The organization of the Euro Summit and the role of its President are defined in Article 12 of this Treaty.
