Visit of Aleksander ČEferin, President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), to the European Commission

On October 6, 2022, Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for Promoting our European Way of Life, and Aleksander Čeferin, President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), signed the new Cooperation Agreement between the Commission and UEFA, which was approved in June 2022. Leveraging the widespread success that football channels in Europe, this third Cooperation Agreement, following the agreements signed in 2014 and 2018, aims to promote European values and objectives defined in the European Sport Model.
